ABOUT / A PROPOS
Fanny Deniau El Maïmouni, French by birth, has lived in Marrakech, the country of her heart, since 2016, where she organizes trips to the south of Morocco, as well as events, with her agency, Authentique Nomade.
Sensitive to visual aesthetics, she has been doing street photography for about fifteen years.
Distinctions:
She has stood out at international photography competitions in 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 20922 and 2023 obtaining honourable mentions and several medals (Maghreb Photography Awards, Paris Street Photography Awards, Black and White Photography Awards).
Her photos have been shown at the Nuits Photographiques in Rabat in 2018, 2019 and 2020.
She has exhibited in the collective exhibition “Histoire d’Afriques” at the Academy of Fine Arts of Kinshasa in 2021 (Democratic Republic of Congo).
In 2022, five of her photos were selected to appear in a book on the lockdown due to Covid-19, “Horizons” published by Langages du Sud.
In October 2023, her solo exhibition is held in Marrakech, in the Medina, entitled “Fragments of lights.”
In February 2024 she exhibits a photo collectively, in the United Arab Emirates, at the international photography festival, Xposure
